Lead Nitrate

Lead nitrate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Pb(NO3)2, white cubic or monoclinic crystal, hard and shiny, soluble in water. It is mainly used in the manufacture of lead salts, mordants, fireworks, etc.

Inorganic industry: used in the manufacture of other lead salts and lead dioxide.

Pharmaceutical industry: used in the manufacture of astringents, etc.

Benzene industry: used as tanning agent. The photographic industry is used as a photo sensitizer.

Mining industry: used as ore flotation agent.

In addition, it is also used as an oxidant in the production of matches, pyrotechnics, explosives, and analytical chemical reagents.
