Erbium(III) oxide is the inorganic compound with the formula Er₂O₃. It is a pink paramagnetic solid. It is slightly soluble in inorganic acids, insoluble in water, and transforms into hexagonal crystals when heated to 1300 °C, and does not melt. It finds uses in various optical materials.
