Potassium Chromium Sulfate

Potassium chromium sulfate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula KCr(SO₄)₂·12H₂O. It has a black-purple lustrous crystalline or light purple granules or powder with a melting point of 89 °C and a relative density of 1.83. This compound is soluble in water but not in ethanol. At different temperatures, it changes in color, such as purple in cold water and green when heated.
